Higher timeframe (daily or above) shows a clear higher-high/higher-low uptrend, or lower-high/lower-low downtrend. No sideways chop. 2 pts Price sits on the correct side of its own 50-period moving average for the trend direction. 2 pts ADX(14) reads 20 or above. Wilder's own convention for a market worth trend-trading. 2 pts The current pullback has retraced 61.8% or less of the prior impulse leg. 2 pts Volume on this pullback is lower than volume was on the impulse leg that came before it. 1 pt No untested swing high, swing low, or round number sits within one ATR of price, against your trade direction. 1 pt
